Rachel Yancius '12 Recruiting Profile

I am 120 pounds, and 5'5. I am very fast on the soccer field, and quick to the ball. My sophomore year on Varsity I received the Honorable Mention Award for the League, and my junior year on Varsity I recieved 1st Team All-League. I am currently a junior, but next year, when I am a senior I aspire to be a captain. I am probably the most hard-working and dedicated person to my team. I play whole-heartedly, after each and every game my heart is left on the field. I believe fully in teamwork and that everyone should be giving her best effort all of the time. I would prefer going to school somewhere around the East Coast, not too far from home, preferably within driving distance. For the most part, I believe that I am open to different types of schools but my preference is a medium sized to smaller one. My family does not require financial aid in order for me to go to college. I am not exactly sure what my major is going to be but as of right now I am leaning toward Early Education. My realistic athletic goals are, definitely to play as a freshmen, and play at a decent level. I definitely would like to have an impact on my team.
