Allison Wilson '11 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old and it is my life. I started off on my town's travel team and then moved on to play at Seacoast United when I was 9. I have been on Seacoast for 8 years and I love it. We have won the State Championship 5 years in a row, all the years we were eligible to compete for the title. On my high school team, the Exeter Blue Hawks, I play defense, mostly sweeper, and I have been on the Varsity team for 3 years since I was a freshman. I made the First Team all-state this year as a Junior and I will be a captain next year as a Senior. We won the State Championship in 2007, my freshman year, and 2009, this past season. I weigh 125 pounds and I am 5'7". My strengths are my speed, endurance, smart decisions, and quick foot-skills. I am strong for my size and always put up a good fight. I am very determined and focused and will never give up in any play situation. I see myself as a leader on my team and I always try to keep up the team's morale. I have always seen myself playing soccer in college and it is definitely my main goal in life. I am not very picky on the geographic location of the school I attend but I do prefer a larger school that is not in a very rural area, with more of a city feel. I need a school that is strong in academics and where there are extra-curricular activities that I can participate in, but I am very open to many different types of schools.
