I am a multi sport athlete in Great Falls, Montana and I have a goal of playing soccer in college. I love working hard and competing to become the best I can be. Currently I am playing for a team 2 1/2 hours away so I can play for a Premier Team that has opportunities to play in Idaho, Washington and Utah. I train with my team during the spring and fall seasons, play on the Montana Olympic Development Team in the winter, and train with a local grassroots training program year round. I am committed to getting better every day. I am very competitive and play hard all the time.
Last year I was my club team co-captain and was selected as the Montana ODP Team Captain. Last summer I was invited to the ODP Region 4 Summer Camp in Ft. Collins. I believe I did a great job at the camp, competed well against the top players, and moved up into the top 50 players by the end of camp. Last summer, I was invited to train with the Seattle Reign Program and will go back again next year.
I've played just about every position on the field and coaches continue to move me where they need help. After mostly playing forward for many years, I was put at center defender to help a team that needed aggressive defenders. I liked the position a lot and worked hard there helping my team. I play the 4 and 5 position in ODP also (including a successful ODP Summer Camp), but recently eave been moved to attacking and holding mid as I have been working hard on my ball handling skills. I really like these positions as they allow me to work with other teammates and distribute the ball downfield. I have also recently played striker and forward as well. I would be willing to play anywhere and I believe my knowledge of the game, speed, foot skills and aggressiveness would allow me to contribute wherever the coach needed me to be.
I think a coach would be happy to have me on the team because I work hard, I am a leader and I am willing to do whatever it takes to help the team. I am physically strong and like to run. I work hard in school too and have always had straight As. I am a member of National Junior Honor Society and recently was elected to the North Middle School NJHS Board.
While soccer is my primary sport, I also compete in swimming, softball and track. In swimming, I am a multiple event Montana State swim champion and have qualified for the Northwest Regional Championships three times and have been ranked in the top 10 breast strokers in the NW each year. I have attained AAA times two years in a row and have many team records. I also play short stop and catcher on a competitive softball team and was selected as an All-American this summer and played for the Northwest Regional Softball team in the first ever All-American Softball Tournament in Oklahoma City. In the past few years, my club team has taken 2nd and 3rd at the State Tournament. I work hard at these sports too, making sure I go to practice and listen to my coaches so I can achieve my goals here too. In the spring, I run track, competing in the 100 yard dash, 110 yard hurdles and the 800. The 800 is my favorite because it is a hard race to run.
I am looking for a school where I can be challenged in the classroom and on the field. I like being around people who work hard so I can be a good as I can be and help make others better too.
