Personal Statement

When I was introduced to the game of soccer as a young child I was encouraged by my parents to go out and be myself. At the time, I did not know any better but as I look back I understand what my parents where saying. They knew soccer fit my personality... or my personality fit soccer... either way, the game of soccer has always been my comfort zone. I do not have to hold anything back. I get to be passionate and aggressive. I get to be fast and physical. I get to compete! I am free to be me on the soccer field. I want to compete at the highest level of my ability... that is what I want my college soccer opportunity to be.

(Fall 2017) - U15 Iowa State Presidents Cup Champions. Heading to Ohio in June 2018 to represent Iowa at the US Region II Presidents Cup Championships. (Spring 2017) - Captained U14 State Cup Runner-Up team. First time in over 10 years that Ames Soccer Club has had any team make it to the State Cup Championship weekend let alone the finals.

2016/2017 Undefeated season; played other RegionII ODP State Teams at regional events. 1 of 4 girls from Iowa to be invited and to attend the US Youth Soccer RegionII ID Training Camp. Made the Region II Team Training Pool.

You have been identified by the ODP Region II Coaching Staff and/or your State Association to attend the 2017 US Youth Soccer ODP Region II ID Camp to be held at Saginaw Valley State University in Saginaw, MI. This 5-day residential ID Camp will provide you with an excellent opportunity for you to continue to develop as an elite player. All players attending the ID Camp will have the opportunity to be selected to play and represent Region II at regional, national and/or international events during the 2017/2018 event cycle. ID Camp is open to all invited Region II players who receive an invitation directly from Region II and/or their State Association.

This sub-regional event will provide our 2000-2005 age groups with the opportunity to train with and compete against ODP state teams from 14 states across the region. Players will gain exposure to Regional/National staff coaches as well as MLS scouts.
