Esther Annoreno '17 Recruiting Profile

In college I look forward to getting a nursing degree and becoming an RN shortly after. As well as accomplishing things acedemically in college, I would also like to contribute to the women’s soccer program.

I've been playing soccer for 12 years. Between the ages of 10 - 14, I played on an all boys national showcase team (R-B United), I was the only girl on the team. On this team, I played all defender rolls and left mid. But through my soccer career, I’ve learned to play every position, even goalie.

As a high school player,  I have been a Varisty player since freshman year. Throughout my varisty career I have played center mid, left mid, right mid, and forward. I have played and started in all 40 games throughout my varsity career thus far. I have been recognized by the Metro Suburban Conference as an all conference player in the 2014 - 2015 academic year as a sophomore. Through the duration of my soccer career, I have established a reputation as an extremely capable, effective player. Since I started playing, my coaches would agree that I have consistently displayed qualities of initiative, conscientiousness, and teamwork. Although I have won numerous trophies over my club and high school career, I cherish the Superior Sportsmanship and Positve Attitude Award presented to me in 2011 by R-B United Soccer Club. In addition to my passion for soccer, I’m also a part of the Riverside Brookfield High School Orchestra. During concerts my seating posistion is in the first row closest to the conductor.

Academics and athletics are equally as important to me. I’m confident I have what it takes to play at the next level and promise to give my team everything I have including my abstract leadership skills. I know I will bring a positive impact to your team!
