Sarah Springsteen '11 Recruiting Profile

Hi I'm Sarah Springsteen! I am 5'1', 115 lbs, and even though I'm short I have great speed and bursts of energy! People on the sidelines say I'm the "secret weapon". My favorite things to do are sprinting, dribbling with the ball, and scoring goals. I have played for about 10 years and I am still fully commited to the game all year round. I can offer 100% to my game and practices. Not only that, I am always first to arrive and usually the last person putting away equipment. I will pursue all opportunities to play soccer in college. Where ever soccer takes me in the U.S. I would like to go, but of course my education is also a high priority. It would be best for me to have soccer and/or academic scholarships. As you can see from my transcripts, I am in the top 25 of my class. I am interested in environmental biology, and I am also interested in art which is another one of my passions. This year I will be starting on varsity, and my team's goal is to win conference. It will be interesting to see how the year will play out, but I'm looking forward to my new season! I plan on being watched by recruitors and I am interested in talking to them all.
