I have played soccer for 13 years and on competitive travel team for 9 years. My trainer gave me the nickname of "Italia" because there are a lot of girls named Meghan and I was wearing a team Italy jersey at his camp, and it has stuck ever since. The last several years my coaches have enlisted me to play up. I started for a U16 team at the age of 11 and on a U19 at the age of 13. Playing with older girls has improved my game and my aggression to win the ball.
I made Varsity , as a freshman, for Richmond Burton High School. We won the Big Northern Conference with a record of 15-1-1. I played in 16 games , starting 9 and scored 11 goals with 4 assists. As a Sophomore, again I made Varsity, this time as a starter. We won conference with a record of 16-5-0. As a Junior I was a Varsity starter, after a slow start my team ended up winning both Regional and Sectionals with a record of 15-8-3 maiking to the Elite Eight.
I believe with my hard work and determination that I have on and off the field I can make an immediate impact for the right team.I just love soccer and will do whatever it takes for me to be at the top level.
