Alexa Lawdensky '11 Recruiting Profile

My names Alexa Lawdensky. I am 18 years old and am currently a senior at Plainfield East High School. I am approximately 5'4" and 120 pounds. I have been playing soccer since I could walk and I am the fastest on my team. During my freshmen year, I was asked to play on the freshmen team as well as the Varsity team so I alternated. During my sophomore year, I was transferred to Plainfield East when it first opened. Our school only contained freshmen and sophomores at the time so our highest level team was Junior Varsity in which I started and was captain. Junior season I also participated on the Varsity team. My stronger abilities are my speed and ball control. I always put myself out there giving it 110% and never giving up. I communicate with my teammates and constantly give them support. I tend to take the leadership award by helping others and leading the team. My future includes hopefully playing college soccer with a confident and successful team. A team that works together and plays their heart out as I do. My major is education. I've always had a soft side with kids and look forward to placing myself further in that region. Overall, soccer has been my one and only passion. Besides grades in school, it is my top priority and nothing will stand in the way of accomplishing my goals and my dreams.
