Casandra Valdes '17 Recruiting Profile

I knew I wanted to play collegiate soccer in the 8th grade.  From that time forward, I have devoted myself to succeed in my academic and athletic performance.  I know due to my family's financial state these two things are going to help me pursue my dream of playing in college and getting a degree.  I believe that if you work really hard at something you can accomplish it; therefore, I always try to put those words into practice, which makes me a good candidate for a college level soccer team.  I standout from others in soccer because I am passionate about the sport and dedicate myself to becoming better.  I would describe my character as calm, observant, open-minded, and easy to get along with.  Not only do these characteristics help me on the playing field, but they will also help me pursue a career.  All in all, I see myself enjoying collegiate soccer and graduating with a degree.
