My name is Kortnee Hass and I am a senior (Class of 2015) at Johnsburg High School, Johnsburg, IL (Coach Robert Eastland). I have played and started on the varsity team since I began high school as a freshman. I have been playing soccer since the age of 6 and competitively since age 8 with the Johnsburg White Lightning Soccer Club out of Johnsburg, IL. My junior and senior year on my U-18 girls team, I was a captain. My sophomore year I received All Area 2nd Team in the Mchenry Area. I also started and played in all of our playoff games that led us to the 1A 2013 State Finals. My junior year I received All Conference in the Fox Valley Conference and I was also apart of the All Area 1st team in the Mchenry Area. I can play all throughout the center of the field, or anywhere in the defensive area. I am both a leader and manager out on the field, trying to get the most out of my teammates and myself. As a starting player all four years of my high school career I have gained broad knowledge of the game and been thrown around in many different positions. I have learned to be versatile in the sport of soccer. My desire is to play and study at the collegiate level where I fit in and will benefit from the school. I have taken honors courses throughout all of high school, and have maintained a good GPA. I am undecided in what I want to major in, but my strengths are Math, Science and I really enjoy Psychology. I have coached Kiddie Kickers with my soccer club for all four years of my high school career and have volunteered to help coach Special Needs soccer and Special Needs cheerleading.
