My collegiate aspirations include finding a home in a school where I fit both academically and athletically. I have been a leader on and off the field in several ways. I was voted Captain of my club team for the past 2 years. I have refereed for 8 clubs for the past 4 years, which allowed me to see the game from a different perspective. Most importantly, I've made it a priority to give back to my community and participating in service projects that can reach around the world. In the past five years I have sent over fourteen 55-gallon drums, filled with over 1,500 new and used sports gear items, to small villages in Liberia, West Africa. I believe my willingness to not only see the need in others, but taking action to make a difference in their lives, has helped make me a better leader. I would be a good teammate because I have a strong work ethic, a desire to grow and learn and a willingness to be the best I can be. I want more than anything to have the opportunity to do what I love for the next four years.

- This would have been my 5th year attending JFSLA, but an injury kept me from attending. I was asked to return and speak to the campers, which I did on 6/29/2014. I spoke about how much I learned about being a leader, while at JFSLA, and how I took the message home and really challenged myself to "Choose to Matter." I continued to set goals, meet them, and set even greater goals. I challenged each girl to take what they learn at JFSLA to heart, and continue to challenge themselves on and off the field to be a good person and care for others. - Won 3 of 4 "World Cup" tournaments while attending JFSLA. Will be a Junior Counsellor for 2015 JFSLA summer camps in New Jersey, Illinois & California. Have raised fourteen 55-gallon drums of new/used soccer gear and shipped it to needy children in Liberia, West Africa as part of my service project. Will run youth training camps to raise funds to ship more gear this summer as part of this year's service.project
