I have been playing soccer since I was four years old and my love for the game has just grown since then. Playing college soccer has been my goal ever since i was young. I have a lot of leadership experience and I believe that I would be a great addition to any team. As a center defender, I have a well-rounded skill of reading the game and directing my teammates to mark players and correct their spacing. I also believe my determination on and off the field separates me from other recruits. I am a hard worker on the field and that helps me catch any breakaways that get past the back line. I am also a hard worker in the classroom and I do everything I can to keep my grades up and to take advantage of high school. In my household, academics always come first and this is the same for my college search. I first looked at the academic side of schools and picked the best fit for me. I then did research on the soccer team and decided if it was attainable to me. With this process I can apply to the schools on my list and be happy at any of them, even in the case that soccer does not work out.
