Ashley Meyer '10 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'8'' 150 lb. forward from Evanston, Illinois. I am currently attending Dominican University as a Sophmore and have two years of elgibity left. I am looking to transfer and set on playing at a higher division. I would like to play division I or II and have the drive and motivation to play and become a starter at this level. At my college, I started most of the games I played since feshman year and have contributed a great amount to the team. In high school I also started alll four years on the varsity team. I am a very hard worker as always being the first to get to the field and last to leave. My strengths are my speed from five yards and up and being considered a very versatile player, for I have been placed in many positions such as outside midfield, forward, and defense. I was team captain for my senior year high school team and am finding leadership on and off the field. I realize I have started this recruiting process late, but I still want to pursue competitive athletics.  Academically, i recieved a cumalitve GPA of 3.1 at my college and in high school I was an honor roll student and I carried a 3.7 GPA.
