Personal Statement

Hi Everyone!

I see my college future to be a time for me to personally grow in all aspects of my life.  My goal is to get a degree in Elementary Education/Special Education to eventually become a teacher.  I am looking forward to making a difference in children's lives.  On the field, I plan to be an energetic and positive influence with the team.  As I build my College soccer career I will strive to be an asset to the team and conduct myself with integrity on and off the field.  Throughout the years, soccer has taught me so much.  Being part of a team has helped round me to the person I am today.  I am a hard worker, determined, team player and goal driven person.  On lesson learning experience for me was at a soccer tournament, our team was fighting hard for the championship match.  This game went into double over-time and PK shoot out.  We won! What I learned from this win, was that I felt so exhausted, but I kept pushing myself.  No matter how tired and hot I might be in a game, I always have more left to leave out there on the field.

I am the type of person that enjoys being busy.  I volunteer at the YWCA of the Quad Cities, helped out in nursing homes, baby sit for families, certified life guard, for fun I love to do water sports and hang out with friends.

During my time at College it would be a privilege to be able to play the sport I love: SOCCER   It has always been a life long goal of mine.

Thank you for your time!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
