I think I am a good candidate for their team because I not only am a great athlete, but also am very involved in the community and do exceptional in school. Many skills that I have obtained through soccer, I've been able to apply in the classrooms. I am very serious when it comes to my academics. I aspire to be a midwife and have been doing volunteer work with an independent OB/GYN office to help me build a stronger resume. Also, I have been enrolling in extra science courses and am in an honors math class so that I have a stronger background of the important courses for when I do attend college.
Some of my recent achievements was winning the Nationals Cup XV in Aurora, Colorado this past summer and winning the 2015 Disney Showcase in December with the Rush Select Team in Orlando, Florida. The number one thing that I took away from Nationals was tenacity. Coming out of a tough season didn't stop us from persevering and performing our absolute best. The Disney Showcase has taught me how to work with different types of people, especially because most were not people from my state. I think that these experiences, as well as, being a captain for about 4 years will make me a great candidate for your team.
