Randi Macadangdang - Committed '17 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a Senior enrolled at Mililani High School in Mililani, Hawaii. Growing up I played many different sports such as Soccer, Basketball, Track & Field and Cross Country but Soccer has always been my favorite and seemed to fit me the best. I started playing non-competitive soccer at the age of 5 and eventually moved to competitive soccer at 7 and played on both boys and girls teams. Playing with boys has taught me to play a lot more physical and faster and the need to be a fast decision maker on the field. Playing on a boy's team also improved my game and stamina. Playing on the girl's team taught me to become a leader and influence my teammates to play faster and physical. Academics are a priority for me. I value school as much as I value soccer. I am a very hard working Student Athlete on and off the field. I am also up to the challenge to learn new things from my coaches, teammates, and friends and mostly learn from my mistakes. My goal is to play at the collegiate level and I know that it's a lifetime opportunity. I understand how hard it is to play at this level, but I'm dedicated and will work very hard.

My current position is Center mid but I also play Outside back & Attacking mid and occasionally my coaches will also play me as a Forward when needed.  I’m quick, aggressive both offensively and defensively.  I can take shots with both feet and have good field vision as a “play” setter.   I'm currently highlighted on "Scoring Live" http://scoringlive.com/print.php?storyid=14765 and http://scoringlive.com/print.php?storyid=14767
