>Hello my name is Hailey Briseno, I play soccer all year round on a traveling soccer team and also I play for my high school varsity team. I have been on my traveling soccer team for 7 years and my high school team for 3 year as a varsity player. I have primarily played as an outside defender and outside midfielder; and my strengths in this position are that I position myself well and block most crosses from getting off into the middle, I am also very fast with excellent endurance. I like to run up the sideline and get crosses off to the center when I play defense. As a midfielder, I have accurate kicks on goal and can score and do well on PK's. More recently I have been moving into an outside wing mid-fielder position. This is a natural position for me because I am fast and can get down the sideline quickly and cross the ball into a good area for scoring opportunities and still be able to get back quickly to help the defense out if needed. I really enjoy having the freedom of moving around in midfield and getting to run back and forth to get as many touches on the ball, shots on goal and getting as many crosses off as I can. I plan to help coach Youth Soccer in Roatan Honduras this summer for the month of June and will be soliciting donations of equipment to take down there with me since they have hardly anything to play with. One of my personal goals after I graduate high school my senior summer I would like to go again to Roatan, Honduras to help out the community and teach/coach kids who would like to learn soccer. For my career goals I am interested in sports medicine, marine biology and marine vetrinary medicine. When I'm not playing soccer I like to add some diversity into my athletic activities so i go skiing/snowboarding, surfing, mountain hiking and biking, swimming and snorkeling, abalone diving, and play underwater hockey. Thank you for your consideration and time.Hailey Briseno
