I have been playing competitive soccer for many years. During this time, I have seen a natural progression in my level of soccer. Since U14, I have competed on an ECNL team and last year I played up an age group at the ECNL National Playoffs. Last year, I started as a freshman on my high school team and scored the game winner to help us move on to the Elite 8 in the state playoffs. I saw how great it was to represent my school on the field and with that I opted out of trying out for a DA team. Also, I have represented Georgia’s first team the last two years at the Region III ODP Camp and I am currently selected to the region pool for Region III. I am attending the Thanksgiving Inter-Regional event on the Region III 2000/01 Inter-Regional team.
Even though soccer is a major part of my life, with all the training and the travel, I have been able to maintain very strong grades. I attend a college preparatory catholic high school where I take all honors and AP classes. I finished freshmen year as Summa Cum Laude with straight A’s and a GPA of 98.8% while also scoring a 4 on my AP exam.
My goal is to play soccer for my college while attaining a strong education. After the experience of representing my high school on the soccer field, I could not think of anything better than representing my college on the athletic field and in the community.
