Mia Hamm has a quote that says, "Somewhere behind the athlete you've become and the hours of practices and the coaches who have pushed you... is a little girl who fell in love with the game and never looked back... play for her". I fell in love with the game at about age 11 the beginning of middle school and decided at about age 12 that I wanted to take soccer as far as I could for the rest of my life. I've worked hard ever since to improve my skill, and improve the way the ball moves every time I touch it. I have the ability to be a straight A student and it really made me think when a member of the NCSA said at a meeting recently. "What if your athletes spent as much time on their school work as they did on the field". after answering that question for not only myself but for the people I love, I decided to do whatever it took to make the best grades I could in every class I could.
