Although my soccer career is still somewhat young, I have experienced many ups and downs that have helped shape me into the athlete and person I am today. The highlight of my career was winning the Presidents Day Tournament in Phoenix, Arizona. I was in the seventh grade, had just joined a new team, and had finally got a taste of what a huge victory felt like.
Success was a great feeling, but failure is without a doubt what I have learned from the most. As a u12 player I got selected into the training sessions for ODP, but then failed to make the state team that played during the summer. I was devastated for awhile but then realized I couldn’t give up that easily. I went back to an ODP camp and played with determination and fire, one week later I got an email inviting me to play on the state team. This shows that my attitude and determination to be the best I can be, is my strongest characteristic and has helped me achieve many goals in life. I have learned to never give up and fight for what I believe in. I am in search of a college that will be a good fit for me academically and athletically. As a strong and steadfast individual, I believe I have what it takes to be a dynamic part of your soccer team!
