My name is Ali, and I most typically play Center D or left back on my travel and high school teams. I'm currently in 9th grade, and I recently made my high school varsity team as a freshman. I am very interested in playing soccer in college. Watching my older sister go through this process for another sport, I'm thinking that I would prefer a smaller school that has a good balance with athletics and academics. I'm really interested in engineering or pre-law for my major.
I am a very committed player and student, and I've been told by my coaches that they see this through practice and games. My work ethic is very strong, and I love being part of a team. I'm also not shy about communicating on the field. I believe my work ethic, commitment to the team and of course my focus on academics would be an asset to a college team.
