Amanda Hadsell '13 Recruiting Profile

I'm Amanda Hadsell and my plan is to play college soccer. I'm 5'5", 125 lbs., I'm in great shape and have excellent endurance. I've been playing soccer since I was seven years old. I played Recreational soccer for two years and decided I needed more of a challenge. I tried out for club soccer, and made the divison three team. I was invited to guest play for the divison one team, and from there on I have enjoyed the more competitive play. My greatest accomplishments to date are being asked to guest play on higher seaded teams, playing on a U16 team as a 14 year old, and most of all playing on the varsity high school team as a freshman. On the varsity team I started and played at least three quarters of every game. On and off the field I am focused, hardworking, and have great work ethic. I like to hear what I can improve on and I always take constructive criticism positively as well as any and all imput from my coaches and teammates. Therefore, I have always been told I am very coachable. I try my hardest to keep my team focused and working together. I feel it is important to keep the team as a whole not as individuals. I have not decided what school I want to go to yet and I don't have a plan as to what I want to major in. All I know at this point is that I want to play soccer at the highest division anyone has to offer to me. I am excited that I have the opportunity to show you what I can bring to your team. No matter where I go, I will give 110%. It would be an honor to play as a freshman and that is what I am striving for.
