I have been playing competitive soccer for over 13 years. Soccer is not only my passion, it is my life style. I am so excited to pursue my dream of playing college soccer.
I have been blessed with an athletic gift and would love the opportunity to share this gift with a team at the collegiate level . Playing college soccer is a privilege and it would be an honor to make an academic and athletic contribution at the next level.
As a leader, I motivate and encourage my team with my strong work ethic and physical example. I am also not afraid to be a vocal leader when necessary and do so with positive and encouraging words, both on and off the field. I do not tolerate negativity and work hard to build a team that loves and plays hard for one another.
As a soccer player, I am a strong and physical player, who fights very hard to win the ball and score for my team. I also have a keen vision for the field, which allows me to selflessly and creatively distribute the ball to other goal scorers. Although my primary position is forward, I am a highly versatile utility player, who can seamlessly and fiercely play offense and defense on either side of the field. I am also very easy to coach and get along extremely well with all of my coaches and teammates. I have been described by my coaches as a natural striker and physical specimen.
At the beginning of my athletic career, soccer came naturally to me. As I progressed, the competition also increased, but so did my skill. Years later, I began playing club soccer, where I began to see soccer at a whole new level. Suddnely soccer was not so easy. I began to train on and off the field with coaches and trainers who could help me with my footwork, speed, and agility. The more I trained, the more I improved, and the more I fell in love with the game. Following this training, I had the opportunity to play in the 2016 U.S. Youth Soccer National Championship. This is an experience I will hold on to forever.
Playing soccer has taught me to be a strong woman; one who preserves and never gives up. Soccer has taught me to become a better leader and to positively encourage others. Soccer has taught me to be a good example to others on and off the field. Through the game of soccer I represent more than just myself. Soccer has allowed me to see the world through a much wider lens. I would not only be blessed to play for your soccer team, I promise to give your college and OUR soccer team my very best in all that I do.
Sincerely,
Brianna Uhl
