Personal Statement

I plan on attending college to seek a degree in Kinesiology/Biology or History... Haven't decided yet but getting there!  While pursuing my college degree, I would like to be a member of a collegiate soccer team both for the comradery as well as for the athletic experience at a higher level of play.

Playing soccer is one of my first loves and also a release to many of life's stressors. I would be an asset to a collegiate team as I am a self-driven student and athlete that can go all out for the full ninety minutes of a game.

My ability and willingness to play where the team needs me and my understanding that one can often learn more from the losses than the wins; makes me a versatile team player.

I am responsible, reliable and make practice and other team events a priority.

Training

  • Soccer / Distance Running
  • 10 years
  • I have been running and playing soccer since I was 4 years old. Although, I have won many local 5K running events, my true love is soccer thus, I decided that while I was in High School, I would focus on playing as much soccer as possible and keep my grades up. Currently I play high school soccer, take a very short break and then start playing Club Soccer so, in reality I play soccer all year long. Prior to High School, I received a "Certificate of Achievement – Outstanding Achievement in Soccer, Twenty-nine Palms Park and Rec. League" and received the Presidential Physical Fitness Award in both the 2012/13 & 2013/14 school years.
