Lindsay Stasinis '14 Recruiting Profile

         Hi my name is Lindsay Stasinis and I would like to tell you more about myself and what I am like as a student and a player.  In school I am a good student.  I study a lot, I follow the rules, I don't get in trouble, I am a genuinely good person.  I have about a 3.5 grade point average and I am in Honors, AP, and College Prep classes.  In soccer, my prime position is Center Defender, but sometimes I also play Defensive Center Mid.  I am a big competitor to go up against and I don't just mean literally. I am 5'9 and about 135 pounds and I do have a lot of speed.  I take all types of kicks (corner kicks, free kicks, goal kicks).  However, some coaches prefer to have me in the box to put the ball away because my size and physical strength is a useful advantage over other players.  I am good in the air and I am also a very strategic player.  I was a starting freshman on Varsity and I have started ever since while being a key and contributing player.  Also, I have had years of experience with club.  I have played club soccer since I was 7 years old, starting with the  Simi Valley Eclipse.  I was committed with that team for 6 years.  Then I  moved to the  Camarillo Eagles for a year and now I am currently on Valley United Stars U16 Premier team.  On all of the teams that  I have played  on,  I have been an encouraging player and I try to keep things constructive and positive.  I am undecided with my career choice and I am not particular whether the college I attend is in California or not, I am always open to all opportunities.  I work hard and when I think of college I most definitely imagine myself playing soccer in it.
