Whitney Brashear '10 Recruiting Profile

My name is Whitney Brashear and I am a 2010 graduate of Santa Clara High School. I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years of age, and have been playing club soccer since I was 12. I carry a 3.0 GPA and take all college prep classes. I play varsity goalkeeper for my school and I started as a freshman and was chosen to be captain of my team for my sophomore season. I am very passionate about my position as a goalkeeper. Ever since I have began playing, I knew I wanted to go to a well educated school and play soccer as a goalkeeper. I push myself to the best and can be my best and worst critic. I love the adrenaline rush of being one-on-one with a player and making a great save. I feel that I am one of many great goalies, and would love to further my career in playing.
