Personal Statement

I have played this sport since I was four years old.  I have had the opportunity during these 13 years to play for some great coaches and teams.  I am constantly learning to excel at my game by listening to critical feedback from my coaches.  I am a leader to my teammates and help them to excel as well.  I am a communicator, team player, motivator and supporter.  I respect this sport and give 110% during games and practices.  I am well respected amongst my teammates for both club & high school and fellow soccer players from opposing teams.

I am a senior and Varsity Captain of my high school soccer team.  I was voted Honorable Mention in 2013 and All Conference in 2014 by my Capital Valley Conference League.  With the help of my leadership my team won the San Joaquin Section Championship for our Division for Spring 2014.

I was on the Olympic Development Team Pool for 2012-2013 for Region 4 under the direction of Santa Clara Assistant Coach, Daniel Hicker.

I am also team captain for my club team Galaxy Blues 97G.  My coach, Gregg Thompson would be happy to give a reference on my leadership, skills and ethics as a competitive player.

I am always looking for ways to better improve my skills and game.  I put in the extra effort to work outside of practices to excel in my game by working on my speed, agility and endurance with Alex Van Dykes Going Vertical which has made me one of the fastest players on my team.

My goal is to work hard and hopefully get a college scholarship with a great soccer program to help me continue to develop and grow into an outstanding athlete and student.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
