Personal Statement (Soccer)
My name is Mikayla Clifford; I am a 5'3" striker graduating from Rocklin High School, CA in 2013. I have played soccer for 11 years, 9 of those have been on a competitive level. In addition, I have played on my high school's varsity team for 3 years so far. I have the ability to use my left and right foot equally, so that gives me an advantage on the field. I am a hard-working team player who is very coachable.
I am looking for a school that not only has a competitive soccer program that I will be actively impacting, but also has a solid and well- established Nursing Program. My main interest is attending a college on the West Coast; however, I am open to exploring other colleges that fit my specific needs. Financial aid is a significant matter to me since I have 2 siblings in college as well. My GPA (weighted) is 3.92. My goal is to finish my education in 4 years at the university that I choose to align myself with.
