Lane Berchtold '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lane Berchtold and I am a senior at Riverside Poly High School in Riverside, CA. Ever since I can remember sports have always played an important role in my life, especially soccer. I have been captain on my club team for three years. I work well with my teammates and have the ability to work well with a new team or a group of girls. I have been trained to play any position, yet my forte is left outside mid and defense. I've lived in California my whole life and I have been blessed with great support from my family, especially my mom and my dad. I have always had the thought of going somewhere to further my education while being able to play soccer which is a passion of mine. I've thought of what I would do after my career with soccer is done. Being a coach, a physical therapist, tour guide, or landscaper have always been my top choices of what I want to do. I love helping out with every age and I am capable of working.
