Growing up I experimented with many different sports to try to figure out which one I would truly love playing. After trying out three or four different sports I finally started playing soccer, the place that I can be myself and love what I'm doing. As a High school student who plays soccer, the main goal that I strive for right now is to find a college that I love and play soccer at the school in order to continue playing at a competitive level and strive to become a better player. For the past few years I've been the captain of my club soccer team and this year as a senior I am honored to be the captain of the varsity team for school.
The goal I have for my future in soccer would be able to use it in any way possible to show glory to God in the world around me. I would also love to go on missions trips to spread God's word while I'm attending college. To explore and venture out of my comfort zone is a big dream of mine and I'd love to be able to have opportunities to do so. I believe I was given passion for the game of soccer and a passion for reaching the world around me and I would love to find a situation where I can put both these passions to good use.
