My name is Belen Acosta, I am a sophomore for Foothill College in California. I work very hard and I love to compete. I played forward and outside midfielder in club for 10 years, but when I came to Foothill I started as a left back. Five games into the season, I dislocated my kneecap during the game and I wasn't able to play until two months later which unfortunately was after season. I worked and trained really hard to get back to where I was and fortunately I can say that I am 110 percent back to normal with some improvement. I am fast, skilled and am always looking for the next pass. I work hard on the field, but also work hard in the classroom. What makes me different from most recruits is that I do not just only play and train 110% to get recruited, but I also do it for my team and coaches. My aspirations as a recruit is to play at a school that I fit in at and that helps me become a better athlete and student.
