Malina Yago '18 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Malina Yago. I am 5'7 and a current junior at Marymount High School in Los Angeles. My main goal as I start in the college process is to play college soccer. Soccer has been apart of my life for quite sometime and I have loved every moment of it. I want to continue experiencing those wonderful memories throughout college. On the field, I am a leader; I am not afraid to demand for the ball. I talk to my other teammates to help them out and to encourage them as well. I am commited to working hard to become a better player. I practice as much as I can on my own simply just working on my touch. There is always room to improve and thats what I do in soccer, improve and improve and improve. I am not satisfied with myself unless I give 110% effort because I believe if a person gives it their all, then they have achieved something great. As a person I love to challenge myself and that continues in my academics. I place myself in challenging classes to see how far I can go before I meet my limit.
