Michelle Carter '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Michelle Carter, I am African American, Hispanic, and Caucasian. I am currently attending Fullerton Junior College. I will be transferring after Spring 2014. I have played soccer for 13 years. Two of those years I played at Cypress Futbol Club. I have played two years on Junior Varsity and two years on Varsity as well as my first year at Fullerton Junior College. I am a starting center back. I am 5'9 and I weigh 165 pounds. I am above average when it comes to speed.My main position is left or right defender as well as center beck. My first year on JV I received the Most Improved Award, as well as my first year on Varsity. My senior year at JFK I had 2 goals and 3 assists. My freshman year at Fullerton Junior College I started all the games and I also received the Most Improved Award and Scholar Athlete.   I am a hard worker and I do not give up. I believe that energy and perseverance conquers all. I have never been one to give up on the field. My team could be down by 10 and I will still be playing like it is the championships. To me, team is everything. The chemistry, hard work, and perseverance that a team holds will bring championships. I will never be that player that puts another teammate down or quits on the job. I will always strive to do my best. My goal for playing soccer in college is make an impact on my team and utilize every skill I have to help my team win. I have a huge passion for playing college soccer. If I need to put in the extra work I will do so and I will do more. Education in college is also important to me. My GPA right now is a 3.8. I am looking for a college that can help me on and off the field. Academically I am a very good student. I want to major in Biology and possibly go to Med School. I am open to all types of schools.
