Jenna Stiehr '16 Recruiting Profile

     As a young girl, I have played several different sports.  I found soccer to be my most enjoyable sport.  I started as a field player but began playing goalkeeper on occasions.  I have taken on the position of goalkeeper on a full time basis and train regularly with my keeper trainers. I currently play competitive soccer year round, in the NorCal Premier Soccer League.

     I feel education is very important to me.  I maintain a GPA between 3.5 to 4.0, while taking Honors and AP classes.  I am hoping to continue my education into college, obtaining a degree and starting a career in life.  I also hope to have the opportunity to continue my passion in soccer, while playing for a college.  I believe that sports helps build team work, leadership, good health and a competitive spirit.  I am looking for a college that will give me the opportunity to advance my education, take my soccer abilities to the next level and represent my college in a positive way.

     As most athletes, I dream of becoming a professional soccer player.  I know this takes years of hard work but I am committed to doing so.  It would be a huge dream to one day play at the level of such players as Hope Solo.  To be a role model to younger generations of goalkeepers.  I am looking forward to the next few years to come and will continue working hard for my dreams.  I want to thank everyone whom have helped me get this far and thank those in advance, whom will continue to help me in my future.
