Personal Statement

Soccer is everything I live for. I've come to the point in my life where I've dedicated so much time and effort to becoming the best athlete I can be that all I can see myself doing after high school is continuing to grow as a soccer player. My dream is to find a welcoming school that not only can help me thrive in soccer, but in academics as well. I want to be involved in the community, just as I am at home.

I'm currently captain of my high school team, after playing on the varsity team as a freshman and sophomore. I was named the team's MVP my sophomore and junior year, as well as First Team All League my junior year. I train weekly at The Catalyst Training Center under the guidance of a former collegiate player who also trains Rachel Buehler when she spends time in her hometown of San Diego. Her experienced perspective has helped me grow a lot as a player. I'm also on track for a 4-year varsity letter in cross county, where I earned team MVP honors after both my freshman and sophomore seasons.

My preferred major in college would be one surrounding Graphic Design and Digital Media, but I am willing to explore many different areas. I genuinely enjoy challenging myself on and off the field to find out just how far I can push myself. My grades are extremely important to me and something I take pride in. I've earned a 4.583 weighted GPA so far in high school, and am enrolled in 5 AP courses for my junior year. I look forward to meeting new people and discovering new places in wherever my future takes me!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
