Haley Arft '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Haley Arft. I am currently a junior at
Claremont High School, planning to graduate in
June of 2013. I consider myself to be a serious
athlete. Soccer has been a constant in my life since
the first grade. I understand the importance of fitness,
nutrition, training and rest as vital components of my
game preparation. Soccer is not only a part of my life,
but a part of me.  I have consistently played defense
throughout the years, but have proven my versatility
on any line. I believe what sets me apart from other
defenders is my anticipation of play and my speed.
As a center back, I cannot afford to make any errors
and as a result I have learned to play with intensity
and confidence. I have been told that my vocal,
on-field leadership is an asset equal to having a twelfth
player on the field. My ability to shoot with strength and
accuracy has allowed me finishing success at the net
as well.  Continually, I strive to become a well rounded
soccer player.  I am working hard not only athletically, but
academically to play soccer at the collegiate level.
