Hello and thanks for stopping by!
I was immediately hooked on soccer from the moment I started playing at age 5, as I’m sure most potential collegiate soccer players would say!  However, playing defense is where my deep connection to the game really took root.  The strength of the position has taught me mental and physical tenacity.  The game has taught me life lessons that translate off the field.  Both have helped shape what I am ultimately looking for in a college and career.
I have learned that successful teams are those interested in having a dynamic on and off the field because investing time in others is important, so I hope to play on a team that is powerful not simply from it’s talent, but also due to it’s interpersonal dynamics.   I envision myself on a college campus with a sense of community among the students and staff as well. 
 I have learned that winning is obviously great, but losing is when I find my best opportunities to re-evaluate myself and make changes, so I hope to play on a team with a coach who’s communication style and respect fosters greatness in his or her players.
I plan to major in Sports Psychology with a career goal of taking my education, my life experiences – most importantly, that of an athlete - and work within a professional sports organization.
