Currently, I am in 9th grade and I am competing on the Prior Lake High School Swim Team. I have competed since 7th grade on both JV and Varsity. I lettered all three years at the Varsity level. In addition, I compete at the Varsity level in Synchronized Swimming and have been doing so since 7th grade. I absolutely love school, belonging to a team, leading a team and being involved in several different extra curricular activities. Not only do I compete in Swimming and Synchronized Swimming I am a member of the Speech Team, Yearbook Staff, Eco Team, Anthem Team, Choir, and Junior Optomist Club. In middle school I was on the Principals Honor Roll 6 out of 6 times and received a presidential award from President Obama.
In the State of Minnesota students in Middle School are allowed to compete in High School on sports teams. I was one of three 7th graders that competed on the high school team.
In Middle School and High School I competed at the Varsity level in Synchronized Swimming. Not many kids in 7th grade can say they were competed in two Varsity sports in high school when they were not even in high school yet. In addition, in 8th grade I was in Honors Math, Honors English and take the required courses necessary for completing middle school. I completed middle school with a gpa of a 4.0.
Lastly, I really look up to my parents for their guidance in helping me achieve my goals for school, athletics and a career. I hope to obtain a scholarship to a college where I can earn a degree, swim, synchronize swim and represent the university and the local community. At this time I am interested in studying Dentistry, Anesthesiology and/or Marine Biology.
