Women’s NJCAA Lacrosse Colleges | JUCO Lacrosse Teams

The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) sponsors 15 sports across 500 two-year institutions. The second largest collegiate athletic association, the NJCAA serves 60,000 student-athletes, of which 306 play women’s lacrosse. The majority of the NJCAA’s women’s lacrosse programs are located in New Jersey, New York and Maryland.

Student-athletes generally decide to attend a junior college to raise their GPA and/or position themselves to receive a larger NCAA athletic scholarship before transferring to a four-year institution. College coaches look favorably at student-athletes who start at a junior college, as it demonstrates a dedication to developing both athletically and academically.

Student-athletes who are interested in attending a junior college should contact the athletic department at NJCAA colleges to discuss eligibility to compete in an NJCAA lacrosse program.
