My name is Mary Frances O’Toole and I am a junior at Kettle Run High School (class of 2018) in Nokesville, Virginia. I’ve been playing lacrosse for four years now and my skills, knowledge, and love for the game continues to grow. The work and effort I put into improving my game has allowed me to be able to make my high school’s varsity squad as a freshman, start every game, earn offensive player of the year, earn the Virginia 4A Evergreen District 1st Team All-Conference honors as well as 2nd team All-4A North Region honors both years.
Being a part of a team has allowed me to develop skills that I know I’ll use for the rest of my life. I love my teammates and playing lacrosse has given me a profound sense of pride and accomplishment. I am committed to any team I play for. I respect my teammates and coaches and trust in the fact that they are doing their jobs to the best of their abilities as well.
Not only do I want to play for a school that can help me athletically, but academically as well. I believe I have the skill set, motivation, determination and personal courage to play at the collegiate level. I have the desire to always work at getting better and being able to support my team.
I endeavor at finding a school that I can grow with academically and athletically. I want to study hard, play hard, and improve.
