My name is Natalie Bulgier and I will be graduating from Souderton High School in 2015. I am an honors student and participate in both the lacrosse and cross country program at my school. As a freshman, I was priviledged to recieve a varsity letter in both sports. I was rewarded All League Honorable Mention in lacrosse as a midfielder and also recieved the spirit award. One thing I value most is teamwork and I know that focus, enthusiasum and support are all components that make a team successful. This is why I portray all these things on every team I may be apart of on and off the field. I enjoy school and am most interested in biology or something along the lines of physical therapy and exercise science. When I'm not in the classroom I'm working on my game and physical fitness. My lifestyle is busy and highly active but it's what I enjoy and it keeps me going. When I'm not training for cross country or playing lacrosse I enjoy leisure activities like surfing, swimming and snowboarding.
I love to be involved with the extracurricular activities my school has to offer including the S.A.V.E (students against violating the earth) and FCA (fellowship of Christian athletes) club. I also enjoy helping others and the community. This is why I volunteer to be a buddy in the Special Olympics. My high school actually hosted the Special Olympics my freshman year which was a really great expeirience for me. Although I enjoy being involved, I also enjoy challenging myself in the classroom. I enroll myself in numerous honors classes and take courses that will most likely benefit me as I search for a specific major.
During the summer months, I play club lacrosse and participate in showcases. The start of my club career began in seventh grade. I played for PA Pride my first two years, PA Express as a freshman, and finally I found the perfect fit currently playing for Ultimate. In addition to the many summer tournaments I was also selected to represent Pennsylvania in the All-American National Lacrosse Classic as a freshman. Even though I am very busy, I know that all of this hard work will prepare me mentally and physically for my future. As a hopeful collegiate student-athlete I will putforth all effort and make sacrafices to fulfill my dream. My self-motivated mindset helps me to tackle any challenge. I know that my pure passion for everything I do will drive me to pursue my full potiential as a student and an athlete.
