From the first time I watched my older cousins playing lacrosse, I knew I had to play. It's weird to think just a couple of years ago I was learning how to catch and throw, but now I am perfecting these complex plays using all the fundamental skills I Iearned when I started.
My freshman year of high school lacrosse was a challenge due to some player drama. Through this experience I learned to just keep my mouth shut and play. I don't think I wouldn't be at this level if it wasn't for all the drama because I buckled down and practiced so hard each and every day to prove myself to my coach. Through this effort, I had an excellent summer club season and really feel like I excelled on the field during this past spring high school season. I’m really looking forward to more growth and development again this summer.
Because of lacrosse I have learned to trust people more on and off the field due to the relationships I developed with my teammates. My high school goals are to learn as much as possible whether it's math and English or working together with people. My college goals include more personal growth and development. I’d like to become a photographer and put my skills I learned by working with all types of people to the test.
I believe I would be a great fit for any team because I communicate well on the field; I would rather assist a goal then score if it’s a better option; and, I am respectful to my coaches and teammates.
