McKenna Rushford '16 Recruiting Profile

It is my goal to attend and graduate from a college or university that will challenge me both athletically and academically. While I appreciate the time I get to spend playing, I also realize that what steps I take today to create a strong foundation with academics, athletics and my faith will be the key component to achieving my goals. I also understand that as important as sports are in my life, it is the completion of my degree that will be a cornerstone for my future. I am a player who is determined to be successful in everything I do.  

I excel in multiple sports and apply my experience in an athletic, aggressive, and intelligent style to succeed on and off the field. I work hard to understand every game from all angles so that I can help my team recognize opportunities and take advantage of them. Current/Career statistics can be found on MaxPreps.

She holds herself and her teammates to high standards"..."Great athlete that has tremendous endurance"... "One of the few players on my team that can break down a defense, with and without the ball. While these are tremendous accolades to be referred to in these terms, these are just foundations for my future.  I believe it is my continuous preparation,  effort,  dedication and desire to get better every day that sets me apart from other athletes. I expect to be successful and I prepare myself on and off the field to achieve my athletic and academic goals. I am determined to be a valuable asset to the program that enhances my path to achievement.
