My name is Callie Dwyer and I am a Junior at Merrimack High School. I currently have a GPA of 3.86 and am ranked 11th out of 327 in my class. I have a passion for sports and I have been on Varsity Field Hockey, Varsity Indoor Track, and Varsity Lacrosse since my freshman year. On and off the field, I enjoy learning and challenging myself: I take 2 honors classes every semester and plan on taking AP courses my senior year.
I have been playing lacrosse for Granite State Elite for the last 5 years, as well as playing for my high school.. This past high school season, I scored 23 goals had 13 assists and 33 ground balls in 13 games. We finished our season as the 7th seed and unfortunately lost in the quarter finals.
I love the game of lacrosse and my goal is to play in college. I plan to major in elementary education and psychology. I enjoy working with children and look forward being a teacher that makes a difference. I have a very strong work ethic, am self-motivated and I am a strong leader. I enjoy being part of a team and am very coachable, as I know there is always something new to learn or ways to improve. I feel I would be an asset to any team as I always give 100%, am tenacious, focused and determined to succeed at whatever goal I set.
This fall, I will be playing in the following tournaments on the GSE 2016 team:
September 28 - 12v12 at Dartmouth College
October 5 - The Terrier Challenge 4v4 at Boston University
November 9 at the New England Showcase in Longmeadow, MA
November 22-23 at the President's Cup in Orlando, Florida
