Mariah Eacrett '15 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing lacrosse for 6 years and it is truly a game I enjoy and respect playing. To have the opportunity to play at a college level would be incredible.

I have predominantly been a defensive player with a lot of speed and willingness to hustle. I went from being captain of the freshman team to starting as a varsity defense player both my sophomore and junior year. I was also the recipient of the coaches award my freshman year. My own personal goal is to be the hardest working player both on and off the field.

With regards to academics I have worked very hard throughout my entire high school career, and was able to maintain a 3.8 my junior year. I think you will find I am the type of recruit that can balance both academics and athletics. To ensure I am well rounded I also participate in student council and a best buddies program that works with special needs kids.

In summary I would like to attend a college/ university where I can thrive both academically and athletically. Ultimately becoming a valued member of the college/ university community.
