I am a 2014 graduate of Indian Creek Upper School. I can strongly see the value between the relationship of animals and farming as being important to human survival and safety. Veterinarians are responsible for watching out for unsafe levels of drugs in food and preventing drug companies from selling unapproved drugs that may cause harm to people or animals. They also look at the side effects of approved drugs given to animals. The field of veterinary science affects human health through public health and domestic animal/environmental health. Therefore, I aspire to concentrate my studies in necropsy. On many farms animals spread diseases, by studying necropsy I can help many farms and people by performing a necropsy on an animal to inform the owner as to why the animal died so that he is aware of the disease or other problem that needs to be taken care of in order to protect the rest of his food and humans.
