Sammy Carter '20 Recruiting Profile

I am Sammy Carter and I am a proud member of the Class of 2020 at Indian Creek Upper School.  I live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and I commute daily to Indian Creek because I am committed to receiving the best education possible.  Although I am an excellent student, my true passion is basketball and I hope to continue to play at any level beyond high school.  My strengths are shooting and defense and I work on all of my skills daily.  I have built my strength and my speed and will continue to work on all of these skills throughout high school.  I have been fortunate to be a part of an amazing travel program for many years, and I have built a solid foundation while competing at the highest levels.  In addition to great basketball skills, I am coachable and take feedback and direction well.  I was voted captain of our Varsity soccer team as a Sophomore and although I have a great sense of humor and develop friendships with most of my teammates, I have a passionate competitive spirit.  I look forward to working with a program where I am able to contribute on the basketball court and in the classroom.
