• Selected for 2017 WDNT Kentucky team (One of only two freshman on team)

Hello! Alera here! I am fast and accurate on the field! Strong in both right and left hand stick skills. I've been playing lacrosse since 6th grade and it has become my biggest passion! I take initiative everyday to work on my lax skills, whether it's running on my own or practicing drills in the backyard. I also play club and indoor during off season. As well as condition regularly. I do whatever it takes to achieve my dream of playing college lacrosse!

It's also VERY important to me that I am an encouraging teammate as well as role model to other players. I will give directions but also cheer teammates on during games.

All of my coaches will tell you I give 110% to every game AND practice. I regularly go home after practice and practice just to work on a new skill. I often seek my coaches advice and criticism so I can continue to improve and reach my lacrosse goals. My hope is to be a "light" on and off the field and give all the Glory back to God! 

Highlights:

• Selected for 2017 WDNT Kentucky team  (played at Yale) 

• Varsity starter (as a freshman) Main draw specialist for team. (Mid/Att)

• Stats: 31 goals (14 varsity games played freshman year) Stats on MaxPreps.

• Play up on same club team with many D1/D2 recruits. 

• My Bluegrass A team won Midwest Challenge Championship in Indianapolis in July. Beating out Indy United 2018.

•Summer Genesis Tourney - won all 4 in division.

• Made it to championship at Music City tourney in June.

• Chi-town Classic Fall 2016 - went 3-0

• Midwest challenge 2016, (Indianapolis) starter for 2020 team...Middie and center mid. Made to championship! W-3, T-2. Lost championship by only 1 goal. 

• I made the Varsity team as an 8th grader. (But with the new rule, was only allowed to play JV.)  

• As an 8th grader, I started and played every inning on the Highschool team as Middie. (For both highschool and club teams)

• Making good grades is very important to me. Enrolled in honors classes.

• Played softball for 8 years prior to Lacrosse. (Pitcher and short stop) 

• My faith is also very important to me. 

• I also play guitar.
