I am going into my senior year at Alameda High School in Alameda, California. I have been playing lacrosse since 7th grade, and it has been one of the most influential parts of my life. I am a starting attack for our Varsity high school team as well as a Captain of our team for a third year. I have been named All Star for my team by our league for two years, and was put on our All League team this past year, when our team won the championships for the North California Lacrosse High School League. I am unable to participate on a club team this year not because of lack of skill but because of conflicts due to financial commitment and the lack of accessibility to club teams in the Bay Area. To make up for my lack of club team experience I practice individually at my technical skills and I take a leadership role in the organization and goals of our high school team. I am very dedicated to this sport as it has been a huge part of my life since I was young. I strive to play collegiate lacrosse both because of my love for the game and the opportunities I think it would offer. I would be happy on any team, but I am especially looking for an academically rigorous school.
