I started skating when I was 4 years old. During my skating lessons, I'd always see the kids at the other end of the ice playing hockey. I immediately wanted to try it and I've loved it ever since. I've been playing travel hockey since I was 9, and from then on I've had dreams of playing collegiate hockey. To play hockey in college would be an amazing opportunity that would change my life.
I always make sure that I'm the hardest working person on and off the ice. I find new ways to get better at my sport while being a team leader and encouraging others to keep improving.
At school, I work hard and keep my GPA high. I've received several awards regarding academics, and have maintained good relationships with my teachers. I also march for the Hebron High School Band, which requires a great work ethic and a team-first attitude.
Overall, I'm looking for a program that will challenge me on and off the ice. I'm open to anything as I want to find the right match for me and compete at the highest level possible. I hope to become an role model and inspiration for others and to make my parents proud.
